•  Fourth-team Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar in 2016-17
•  Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Honor Roll in 2015-16
•  All-GCAC twice (2016, 2017)
•  GCAC Field Performer of the Week five times (twice in 2016, three times in 2017)

•  Third year at XULA and a two-year letterman
•  Holds school records for most GCAC Field Performer of the Week awards in a season (three in 2017) and career (five)
•  From same high school as Clarke Allen, a senior on the XULA women's track team

2017 (Sophomore)
•  Finished 17th out of 25 in triple jump at NAIA Outdoor National Championships . . . Best mark was 14.15 meters — 46 feet, 5 1/4 inches — and it was the third straight meet that he surpassed 46 feet
•  Qualified for nationals when he produced a triple jump PR of 14.32 meters (46-11 3/4) at the Southern Miss Open April 30
•  Became first XULA male since 2004 to win triple jump at the GCAC Championships . . . (14.19m/46-6 3/4) is fourth longest in the history of the meet
•  Was the lone Gold Rush all-conference performer of 2017
•  Season-best marks in the long jump (6.55m/21-6, fourth place) and shot put at GCAC meet

2016 (Freshman)
•  GCAC runner-up in triple jump (13.68m/44-10 3/4)
•  Third place in triple jump (13.67m/44-10 1/4) at season-ending HBCU National Classic in Huntsville, Ala., May 14
•  Finalist for XULA's inaugural Male Newcomer of the Year award

High School
•  Triple-jumped 43 feet, 5 1/2 inches to finish fifth in Mississippi's Class 4A state championships in his junior year (2014)
•  Best time in the 400-meter dash was 54.49 seconds
•  Also played basketball, football, baseball and tennis at Mendenhall
•  An all-district, 1,000-yard passer his junior season of football (2013).
•  Voted Mr. MHS senior year and received awards for most athletic and most intellectual
•  Contributed to basketball team's community service efforts at a home for the elderly
