     LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Xavier University of Louisiana
 men's tennis rolled to a 5-0 victory Friday morning against IU Southeast
  in the semifinals of an NAIA unaffiliated group tournament.
	
	     The Gold Rush (14-6), ranked third in the nation,
	 will play the host, top-ranked Georgia Gwinnett (21-0), for the championship at 
	 3 p.m. EDT Friday. The winner will receive an automatic bid to the
	  NAIA National Championships, which will begin May 17 in Mobile, Ala.
		
		     
Kevin Chaouat and 
Thomas Setodji won in doubles
		 and singles. They produced the first Gold Rush point with an 8-1
		 victory against Nick Roby and Trent Wallace at No. 1 doubles. 
		 Chaouat made it 4-0 when he defeated Wallace 6-0, 6-2, and Setodji
		  clinched by beating  Jacob Rankin 6-1, 6-0.
			
					     In the other doubles matches, 
					 
Tushar Mandlekar and 
Adam Albrecht beat Bryson Mills and Rankin   8-1,
					  and 
Kyle Montrel and 
Karan Salwan defeated Jonathan James and Chris Braun  8-4.
						
						     Xavier led in each of the four
						 uncompleted singles matches.
						 
     IU Southeast, the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
					tournament champion, finished 15-12.
					
					     Georgia Gwinnett, which beat 25th-ranked Asbury
					 5-0 in the other semifinal, has a 27-dual win streak and was NAIA national
					  champion in 2014 and 2015.
